FAISALABAD: An independent candidate Mirza
Mohammad Ahmed Mughal, who aimed to field the polls from NA-103 and PP-103 constituencies, committed suicide on Saturday, the police reported.
According to the po
lice, Ahmad Mughal shot himself dead after an alleged dispute with his son.
The deceased electoral symbol wa
s pickup van. His election campaign poster shows that the independent candidate was hopeful of winning the polls.
On the other hand, the Election Commission of P
akistan (ECP) has decided to postpone elections in the NA-103 T
andlianwala constituency.
